Benefits of SCC Software
Compatibility:
Supports most industry standard field survey devices, including Total
Stations, GPS, and survey data loggers, from all major manufacturers,
including Leica, Trimble, Sokkia, Topcon, and Nikon, using a wide
variety of possible field coding techniques.
Small learning curve: Support for a wide
range of existing field practices and tools. Fast, streamlined
modelling, analysis, and drawing production.
Interoperability: SCC includes
direct bi-directional support AutoCAD, Microstation, MX MOSS and LandXML
systems with a minimum learning requirement.
Field Productivity:
Supports all industry standard field processing systems.
Quality Assurance: SCC
includes a wide range of QA procedures to verify the adherence of survey
information to specified standards, with direct support for Crystal
reports enabling creation of complex user defined reports with rich
content such as images, charts, and client logos.

User Friendly: Standard Windows user interface with extensive online help, web and telephone support.

High Speed: Exceptionally fast terrain modelling and contour generation, with support for huge models
Maximum 'Field to Finish' Productivity
SCC has
been specifically designed to provide the highest level of automation
required by the modern survey office while meeting the demanding
cartographic and modelling standards of the modern survey client.
Survey Functionality
Input
of survey data and output of setting out to and from most popular data
loggers, total stations & GPS equipment. Support for multiple field
survey coding standards across supported loggers including SCC, MOSS/MX,
LandScape, SDRmap and Panterra.
Feature
wizard, to greatly simplify the process of setting up multiple mapping,
annotation, layering and QA standards for different clients.

Traverse
Traverse
adjustment using Bowditch, Compass rule and least squares methods
(variation of coordinates). Full 2D and 3D least squares Network
adjustment. Plotting and annotation of traverse route/network in plan.
Export of control observations to STAR*NET and MOVE3.
Combine traverses to a form network.
User
definable 2D and 3D (7 parameter) transformations, to allow you to work
in multiple grid systems, without having to re-edit your survey or
models.
User interface / Windows interoperability
Modern Windows user interface
Very fast generation of fully annotated sheeted sections & profiles, with minimal user input.
*Tabbed access to multiple windows.
*User customisable menus, toolbars and keyboard short cuts.
*Fully OLE compliant.
*User programmable through Visual Basic and Java scripting with form design.
*Multiple spreadsheet formats for easy checking and editing of data.

that
when modelled and compared to the current surface, the cut and fill
volumes will be the same. Compaction and bulking factors can be entered
for cut and fill, and the balance is computed based on the corrected
volumes. You may also enter a level tolerance, which lets SCC know when
to stop balancing.
Design

3D Viewing - 3D surface viewer with extensive 3D object and texture library, time of day based shading and automated flythroughs.
Elevation Surveys
|
Taking points surveyed in plan view and projecting to create an elevation.
Either whole drawing or selected points only * Automatic rotation and 'flip' from x,y,z to x,z,y * Rotates through a user definable plane * Creation of new model for each One simple command to control elevations |

ZVI ZVI (Zone of Visual Intrusion) or viewshed analysis, otherwise known as intervisibility analysis is an analysis that determines all the points on a surface at which a given object or set of objects are visible. This is accomplished by projecting a series of polar rays (view sections) at even horizontal angular intervals from each object (view station) being analysed. These rays are coloured, based on whether the object is visible either from the ground or at a defined eye level. |
|
All
3D features are taken into account when using ZVI. In the example
above, the circular buildings are causing a shadowing effect over the
visual rays. |
|
Plotting Extensive sheet design facilities for creating, editing and plotting. (1) Works with all Windows compatible plotters and printers, with full print preview. (2) Support for placement of grids, scales, station coordinate tables, feature keys, bitmapped company logos and text macros. (3) Automatic rotation of text annotation when using a rotated title sheet. Multiple sheet insertion (4) Support for all standard and user definable paper sizes. Export multiple scaled sheets to CAD. |
