Ideal for...
GNSS QC is a multi-purpose GPS data analysis tool that can be used for:
- Detailed site evaluation
- Quality control of a GPS reference network
- Analysis of Leica SpiderNet residual errors (NOVA Maps)
- Receiver performance testing
- Analysis of dual and single frequency data
- Displacement analysis in real-time and post processing
- Display of IONEX maps
- RINEX data management (concatenation, decimation)
Suitable For All Reference Networks
Leica GNSS QC processes GPS and GLONASS data in the standard RINEX 2.1/2.11 format that is supported by all leading reference station software. Leica GNSS QC is the perfect companion for all reference station networks. It allows the network operator to monitor the quality of the network in an efficient manner. Paired with the superior performance and flexibility of GNSS Spider reference station software and the GPS1200 sensors, Leica Geosystems is setting new standards for GNSS Reference Stations.
Advanced Data Analysis Tool
A range of features are available for analysis of GPS and GLONASS reference station data including:
- A quality check for verification of the quantity of the data (tracking information, data gaps), the quality of the data (cycle slips, multipath, SNR) and the format (compliance to the RINEX standard).
- Multipath analysis features to make numerical summaries and graphical displays of code multipath (MP1 and MP2) for both single and dual frequency data.
- Signal to noise ratio (SNR) analysis features to make numerical summaries and graphical displays of SNR characteristics.
- Coordinate analysis tools to display coordinate information in real time or offline for use with Leica GNSS Spider Positioning Products or for rover performance testing.
Automated Analysis of GNSS Reference Station Data
Reference station networks generate vast amounts of data. To make a detailed analysis of this data is not possible without sophisticated analysis and reporting tools. Leica GNSS QC offers a comprehensive suite of tools tailored to the inspection, alarming, display and distribution of quality data relating to the data products of a reference network. Status information is available at a glance using traffic light symbols and other graphics. For more detailed investigations a range of rich text reports, web pages and graphs can be generated.
Analysis of Network RTK Processing
GNSS QC can be used to visualize the residual error in a Leica SpiderNet RTK network. The inno-vative Network Online Visualization of Accuracy (NOVA) maps display the estimated level of resid-ual error for both RTK rover users receiving network corrections and single reference station (near-est site) corrections. The NOVA maps allow network operators to get a measure of the benefit that network corrections bring to their users and allow them to identify potential 'hot spots'. Network us-ers can view the maps over the web to get assurance on the quality of the corrections provided by the network and to decide between using nearest site and network RTK corrections for the specific location of their survey.
Displacement Analysis
GNSS QC is able to compute and graphically and numerically display displacements at up to 20Hz. With traffic light status and a powerful messaging system GNSS QC is the ideal partner to Leica GNSS Spider for GPS/GLONASS deformation monitoring and reference station integrity monitoring. GNSS QC also provides data analysis for a wide range of geodetic processing packes, such as Bernese, by supporting the SINEX format. Longitudinal, transverse, easting, northing, height, 2D and 3D displacements are computed in real time and can be displayed on screen and on the web as time series, scatter plots and vector maps. Data filtering and archiving features are also available.
Limit Checks and Messaging
Three levels of absolute limit checks for each of the longitudinal, transverse, height, 2D and 3D displacements may be defined separately for each baseline. A flexible messaging system allows for configuration of email, SMS and command line actions to be linked to each limit check and system message. The current connection and traffic light status of each baseline is shown.
Industry Standard Data Formats
Leica GNSS QC works with standard data formats including RINEX, SINEX, IONEX and NMEA GGA, GNS, GGQ and LLQ in addition to proprietary Leica formats. TCP/IP, serial and SQL database communication links are supported. A direct link between Leica GNSS QC and Leica GNSS Spider and Leica SpiderWeb makes configuration of the system quick and easy.
License Free Version
Leica GNSS QC can be downloaded and used for free. No registration or software protection keys are required. The free license includes the following functionality:
- Manual Quality Check of RINEX data (via GUI and command line)
- RINEX data management tools (concatenate/decimate)
- Further RINEX data analysis (with provided sample data set only)
- IONEX plotting tool
