Leica xRTK delivers a phase-fixed RTK solution with slightly lower-accuracy in conditions where highest accuracy RTK cannot work anymore. Using a unique set of algorithms Leica xRTK works in combination with Leica SmartRTK to automatically deliver the best possible position type. Leica xRTK delivers a position solution that is ideal for seismic, forestry and medium-accuracy mapping/GIS applications.
Completely re-designed, the new “SmartRTK” algorithms deliver 10% - 30% more fixed ambiguities in difficult environments compared to conventional RTK while still ensuring outstanding reliability. Fully automated handling of GLONASS biases in all RTK networks ensures that the maximum number of satellites are used.
Availability
The Leica xRTK and the new version of SmartRTK are now available (November 2011) as part of the Leica SmartWorx Viva 4.0 release.”
