Leica CloudWorx for MicroStation 4.2.3 & Leica CloudWorx for SmartPlant 3D 1.2 Updates.
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of upgrades for Leica CloudWorx for MicroStation and Leica CloudWorx for Intergraph SmartPlant 3D. These releases provide important improvements.
CloudWorx for MicroStation 4.2.3 - CloudWorx_MicroStation_en
With the recent introduction of the new clipping manager methods of creating limit boxes and slices we found that the system was regenerating the cloud with each new move or edit of the boxes or slices. We have now made the system more intelligent to avoid the constant timely regenerations.
With IMP data the data will not automatically be regenerated. Instead, the user will be given a quick warning message that they may want to regenerate the data if the cloud starts to look spares. Users will still see a rich cloud with just a few small moves of a slice or resizing or moving a limit box. However, as they move farther from the original cut area they may start to see fewer points (because the current cache only has points near the original cut.). Therefore they can issue a regen to fill in the density of the points.
With pcE data we will intelligently monitor the density and only issue regens when the density drops too low.
This release in a point point 4.2.x release and there for does not require an updated license from earlier versions. It will operate with a 4.2 level license.
CloudWorx for SmartPlant 3D 1.2 - Leica_CloudWorx_SP3D_DAT_en
This release introduces the new capabilities found in the earlier released AutoCAD and MicroStation versions:
- Ability to process pcE formatted data
- New clipping manager (with updated regen mechanism as in MicroStation 4.2.3)
- New CloudWorx project management tools.
This is a 1.x update and will require an updated license from 1.1 or earlier versions.
