July saw the inaugural SCCS Golf Day at the Wyboston Lakes course in Bedfordshire. More than 50 customers from a wide range of companies joined the SCCS team on a scorching day for the 18 hole Stableford competition. The main prize was won by Adam Harwood of Technics Group with a score of 42 points. The winner of the prize for SCCS staff was Chris Evans who will have his handicap looked at for next year. SCCS unsung hero was confirmed non-golfer Muneer Hassan, not only was he serving cold beer, water and even G&T on ice on the course all day via his buggy, he also managed to get the Lee Trevino meets JLS look spot on. As well as the usual longest drive and nearest the pin trophies, there was a charity putting competition which raised £185 for Papworth Hospital Charity. Anyone interested to receive an invitation for the 2014 event, please contact your SCCS account manager.
