SCCS supply Jackson Civil Engineering with state-of-the-art surveying kit in a bid to work smarter and more efficiently.
The investment consists of ten top of the range Leica Total Stations which have been purchased in order to standardise the Jackson fleet.
A LEAN review earlier this year identified that the variety of instruments used by our engineers was wide ranging – leading to inconsistency with our processes, and consequently, more time spent on each job.
Contracts Director Brian Crofton said:
“We want our engineers to have access to the best technology, and have confidence in the equipment they’re using. By standardising our fleet we will ensure both, and ultimately, provide a sharper, quicker and more efficient service to our clients.”
He added:
“This investment was made really simple by the great support we received from Tom Button at SCCS – they offer a fleet management tool so we know where all our machines are at any given time.
