The SCCS test track in Northamptonshire played host to the 7th annual SCCS Rail Day last Friday the 28th, where SCCS technical representatives showcased the very latest in Rail based survey technologies.
The demonstrations covered a variety of survey requirements from collection of track geometry, clearance gauging and sub surface utility mapping to the processing and analysis of large coordinated datasets.
The day was attended by nearly 40 surveyors and engineers from across the UK who carry out work on both Network rail infrastructure and the London Underground.
