Thursday the 27th June saw the seventh very enjoyable and successful SCCS Golf Tournament with over 50 welcomed guests and staff challenging in an 18 hole competition at the Wyboston Lakes Golf Club in St Neots. A huge thank you to all who attended enjoyed the game with the very infamous on-course refreshments.
Winning the of the main event of the day was Leigh Davis of NJC taking a massive 41 point victory. In 2nd place on countback was Joe Landers of MEC and taking 3rd was Gareth Edwards of CADPLAN, both with a very respectable 38 points.
The best pair drawn from the remaining players with a total of 67 points were: Nathan Stone of Survey Hub (35 points) and Tom Witherbed of Solum Surveying (32 points)
Other competition winners included Shane Gwilt (Leica Geosystems), Ben Barnard (SCCS), John Hindley (Metron) and Joe Landers (MEC) for winning Nearest the Pin and Dan Halstead (Greenhatch) for Longest Drive, Dan Reading (LPL) for Straightest Drive.
